Southend Brewery’s bar is home to six, homemade microbrews, thanks to Ahren Warf: resident Brewmaster. Ahren created new beer recipes earlier this summer, brewing the very best for Charleston barhoppers and beerlovers. Five of his six recipes are available year round including the popular Love Me Two Times Blonde, Watch it Grow Wheat and Rip Tide Red. To keep things exciting at the Southend bar, a draft selection from a fellow microbrewery and Ahren’s rotating seasonal selections are always featured as well.

From the Southend Brewhouse this fall, is Ahren’s Pumpkin Ale. This toasty brown beer is brewed with the spices you’d find in your favorite pumpkin pie. With one delicious sip, you’ll remember that familiar fall feel- maybe even see the trees’ leaves changing with a crisp breeze blowing by. October is the perfect time for people watching on East Bay Street. Grab a friend and a table outside for a front row view.

If cooler temperatures keep you inside for the weekend, make a stop at Southend before hibernating to fill a Southend Growler of Pumkpin Ale. A Southend Growler filled with our housemade microbrew is just $14.95.

There are many ways to enjoy Charleston’s only downtown brewery. Boost your beer brewing knowledge and read more about our thirst quenching selections.
