St. Patrick’s Day weekend at Southend Brewery & Smokehouse in downtown Charleston, SC is one of the best times to sip our locally brewed beer and sample our tasty pub food. With a weekend devoted to kicking back and enjoying great beer, there is no better place to have a pint or pitcher than at the brewery that specializes in craft microbrews every day of the year.

Whether you are Irish or Irish at heart, you know it’s not St. Patrick’s Day unless there’s green beer, right? Our Love Me Two Times Blonde gets into the spirit for all you lads and lassies by going green this weekend. It’s one of our signature ales that is smooth and light. Its subtle hop finish will leave you feeling refreshed and begging for more.

While they aren’t changing colors, our other signature brews are definitely worthy of celebrating. From lights to stouts, we’ve got a beer for everyone’s taste including: Watch It Grow Wheat, Castle Pinckney Pale Ale, Riptide Red, Pict’s Stout and our current seasonal beer, Milk Stout. Order a sampler try so you can sip them all to find your favorite.

We know St. Patrick’s Day weekend is a family event with activities throughout the Holy City. If you are planning on checking out the St. Patrick’s Day parade, join us for lunch afterwards. We are just a few blocks and around the corner from the where the parade ends on Broad Street. With our large dining room set aside from the bar area, there is plenty of family fun to be had with a full menu including a kids menu that is sure to please your little leprechauns. Our restaurant is ideally located on East Bay Street and walking distance from WaterfrontPark.

Southend Brewery and Smokehouse has two full bars so there is plenty of room to spread out and stay awhile. While you are here, venture up to our third floor to check out the fantastic harbor views and try your luck with a game of pool. The best weekend sports games will be on the flatscreens throughout the room and with Happy Hour beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, you will be able to sip for just $3 a pint or $10 a pitcher.

See you this weekend at Southend Brewery!
